Last Sunday was her first Christmas with us. Thank God that my employer declared Friday a “half-day” at work. So, I immediately rushed to SM Megamall to purchase some gifts to my godchildren (and ended up shopping more for Noa).
I went home quickly because I was already anticipating a terrible traffic jam within the Ortigas area.
December 24th, we left for our family farmhouse in Antipolo to celebrate Noche Buena. If you’re gonna ask me how did my Christmas Eve dinner go, well, I slept. Yes I just slept after having supper at 9PM.
Christmas Day morning was spent with the whole family in our home church, Faith Fellowship; followed by a luncheon with my in-laws. We were in hunt for a nice resto to dine in but found none, so we ended up eating at Shakey’s in Matalino Street.
After satisfying ourselves with mojos and fried chicken, we chilled out in the AFP Medical Center Food Court (where my parents-in-law’s food business is located.) There Noa opened some of the presents she got from our church friends. The fun hasn’t stopped yet. We took a little walk in Eastwood City with Noa’s lolo and lola, also to catch their fireworks display and the dancing fountain. It was really nice! Blame it to the empty cellphone and digital camera batteries, no documentation! :s
Tomorrow will be the real Christmas for us. It starts in NAIA 3. Wee! 🙂
