“This is an official entry to Dainty Mom’s Bloggy Goodies Contest, in celebration of the Dainty Mom blog’s 2nd anniversary.”
I AM A BLOGGER.
I remember as a young girl, I was so into keeping a fancy notebook and turn it into a diary. I’ve been through episodes after episodes of endless crying because there was a day I caught my Mom reading my diary. I know most of you can relate to that. I will always remember how broken-hearted I was then. But that didn’t stop me from moving forward with my love for writing.
In this modern time when almost all things are instant and digital, keeping a journal also evolved. I told myself that I should get on and close that “mommy intrusion” chapter. Curious souls don’t have to resort to sneaking in just to read my diary. That’s the beginning of my blogging story.
It gives me utmost joy to be able to go back to my previous blog entries. Sometimes, I find myself laughing or crying a bit as I go through my life again in each mouse click. And there are times I also feel in love. My blog, like a book, is my personal time machine.
I AM A MOMMY.
Being a mother is something I will always be grateful to God for. I’ve learned a lot more about unselfish love, patience and even excellence. Moms always want the best for their children, right? Also, being a mommy would give you courage to take a step of faith to leave everything behind for their advantage. When you become a mom, you always have to think twice, one for yourself and one for your child.

February, 2012 was when my husband and I mutually decided that I should quit my office job so I can pay more attention to Noa. Believe me; it wasn’t easy for me because all my life I’ve been in the corporate world. Blogging served as a ray of light. For the times that I feel lonely or bored at home, I write on my blog. It has literally become the outlet for every frustration, happiness, loneliness and joy.
I AM A MOMMY BLOGGER.
Being a Work-At-Home-Mom (WAHM) gave me the luxury of time to write once again. I thought of opening a blog site for my fellow moms. I have so much in mind to share especially for the first-time moms out there. I would love to let them learn from my own “hits and misses.” I want to help them go through motherhood the modern and fun way! I also have to give it to my husband for giving his 100% support as I get back to blogging. Mommy bloggers just need that!
It also feels good when the actual companies appreciate what I write in my blog for them for FREE.
Being a hands-on-mom, I personally shop for Noa’s stuff. I’ve had my fair share of product buying successes and failures. Through my blog, I can tell it freely to my readers. I try to be as objective as possible whenever I make baby product reviews. I do not recommend any product that we haven’t personally tried.
It gives smile to my face to read the comments, and even receive personal emails from my readers asking about the products I’ve featured. I’m confident to answer their queries because I know exactly where to find the subject product or item, the price and most importantly their quality. I love the fact that I can help my fellow mommy readers! Blogging made me a better mom!
