My First Official Mother’s Day Blessings

Last Mother’s Day was my first official Mother’s Day celebration. I got up early to prepare Noa for attending our church service in Faith Fellowship. My daughter started attending her Sunday School classes as early as 6 months old. She just turned 10 months last May 4th. I thank the Lord for this church ministry to the kids.

About 2 weeks ago, I sent in an entry for a parenting website for their Mother’s Day blog contest. I just tried pushing my luck with it, perhaps, armed with a little hopeful mommy heart.

We were waiting for my parents to pick us up so I took some moment to check on my social media accounts such as Facebook and Twitter. It was right on time because I immediately saw Ms. Christine Bersola-Babao‘s tweet regarding the winners of her parenting website called ParenTIN.tv.

This was her exact tweet:

Mommy Tin’s announcement of winners

I immediately opened link and my heart jumped for joy when I saw my name on the list! Yay!

After I saw my name, I immediately (and happily) composed a reply tweet for her, thanking her and the website for choosing me as one of the winners. I did not expect that she would reply back!

As one of the winners, Mommy Tin told us that we are getting these as our prizes! πŸ™‚ Another YAY! πŸ™‚

The photo below is taken from her Instagram (IG) account. Please follow her @christinebbabao. πŸ™‚

The prizes include this Red Ribbon Ultimate Chocolate Cake and Php 1,500.00 pampering GCs for me and Noa from the Little Lamb’s Kiddie Salon. Isn’t it amazing?! πŸ™‚

Aside from this blessing from God through Mommy Tin, my first Mother’s Day was truly unforgettable! Last Saturday, my daughter and I did a little strolling in a nearby Robinson’s Mall. We visited Toys ‘R’ Us and I could see through my daughter’s small eyes that she really had fun!

We even got a lot of free chocolates and a souvenir photo from Toblerone Pilipinas since they had a mall promotion at that time! πŸ™‚

Also, last Sunday, my family also attended the Happy Mommy Day in the Trinoma Activity Center. This was organized by the Lifestyle Network and Working Mom Magazine.

Thank you so much for all your warm greetings last Mother’s Day. I’m sorry if I wasn’t able to reply to all of you. Rest assured that I have treasured those appreciation in my heart.

May God continuously shower his abundant blessings to all the families around the world; most especially to the families of my blog readers!

I am one proud mom and will always be.

Again, belated Happy Mother’s Day! πŸ™‚
