My little Noa has been a Philips Avent loyalista even before she was born. Even if you go on an on-the-spot raid here in our humble abode, you would only see the Philips Avent feeding system in our electronic steam sterilizer and rack. Philips Avent is truly one of the brands I put my trust on as a mom. It’s one of the investments I won’t regret making.
This is Noa when she was only 3 months old. Our Philips Avent feeding system collection has grown so much bigger now than this photo. I’ll try to take a photo one of these days.
My Aventholic Princess
Even if I am a huge Philips Avent fan, I only get stuff that my daughter needs. Nowadays, Noa loves the Philips Avent Training Glass. She got this last July as a birthday present from our foster brother / kinakapatid who was sent to foreign schooling in Camp Benning, USA.
And since I’ve mentioned that we love Philips Avent, naturally, we also always look forward to attending their fun events. In fact, almost this time last year that we were granted exclusive pass to a Christmas bash they hosted for their online community. You can read my post on the exclusive Philips Avent Christmas Party 2011, HERE.
When I heard that they are are having another event in the Grand Atrium of Shangri-la Plaza Mall, I knew I just couldn’t miss it. True to what I have expected, it was really fun! Here are some of the highlights of the event last Saturday, October 6, 2012.
My Favorite From Pregnancy to Playground Stations
- Mommy Mailbox
There was a photo booth with a live photographer from Stan Ong Photography during the event and guests could actually design the printed photo souvenir in this Scrapbooking station.
- Mom’s Best Choice Exhibit
It showcased the best of the best products of Philips Avent, in giant replicas! 🙂
My friend Mommy Via of Soldier Mom Corner won her very own belly casting session since Baby Alfa is on the way! 🙂
And for my favorite plenary sessions:
This is Dra. Georgina Remulla, a Pediatric Dentist as she gave instructions on how to properly take care of our little children’s teeth. She suggested doing the child’s first regular dental visit on his or her first birthday. She also mentioned about the 2-minute rule in brushing our child’s pearly whites: 2 minutes, twice a day! 🙂
And from one of the women and moms I look up to, Philips Avent Ambassador, Mommy Maricel Laxa-Pangilinan. She gave a very heartwarming and inspirational talk on balancing Love and Logic as we become moms to our children. She also stressed the importance of asking God’s grace and wisdom as we love ourselves and family. I love the fact that she mentioned about the principle of, “You cannot give what you do not have” and it encouraged me not to feel guilty or take it as a selfish act if I love myself first as a woman.
I took away from her talk about the importance of honoring our children and husbands by letting them become what they were designed by God to do, according to His purpose. The night after I listened to her, I told my husband about it and we’re interested to attended a parenting talk or seminar should they host one in the near future.
And for the part where my mom literally and almost fell from her seat while watching us, the preview class by Gymboree! We participated in this class headed by Teacher Nadine.
My daughter really enjoyed it and this made my mom decide to shell out some moolah and send Noa to Gymboree. We’re checking out the newest Gymboree Playschool in Robinson’s Magnolia this weekend for their Open House. We might enroll Noa there. If you’re my reader and your child is currently enrolled there, I’d appreciate feedback. Or in case you’re attending the Open House, I’d like to meet you. 🙂
I heard from one of my AMO friends that the Gymboree Robinson’s Magnolia is so far the most beautiful branch in terms of facilities to this date. I’m one excited Momma! 🙂 Gymboree Philippines is also one of the sponsors to this event.
If you visit the 8 different stations that Philips Avent set up, you will earn a stamp. Once you finished all the stamps in your Passport, you will automatically go home with a loot bag. It’s not very difficult collecting the stamps since all stations were really interesting that you wouldn’t just pass them by.
I took home some new stuff for Noa courtesy of Philips Avent. We got another pink sippy cup, breastpads, hair accessory from Goody, a limited edition Philips Avent Bib and Via Cups!
And of course, who would forget the day that we walked away with the Grand Prize?! Thank you, Philips Avent for our new Aprica Karoon Stroller. I couldn’t believe what I heard that this stroller is so far the lightest that Aprica has to offer, weighing at 3.5 kilograms, priced at Php22,000! Of all the numerous names on the fish bowl, my aunt / Noa’s caregiver-grandmother’s name was called. 🙂
Thank you very much and Congratulations, Philips Avent for another very successful event! For more information on Philips Avent events and promotions, please like them on Facebook: Philips Avent (Philippines).
