Breaking Dawn Part 2 Opens in Cinema!

I just came home about 3 hours ago from watching Breaking Dawn Part 2! Don’t worry about reading some spoilers here because I won’t do that! πŸ™‚

First, I have to say sorry to Advertising Mom Sherrybe for not joining the gang to the screening in Powerplant. It was quite a distance from home and Noa’s feeling a bit off because she was vaccinated this morning. Thank you so much though for the invitation!

Call it exaggeration but I really couldn’t stand the ONLY few hours of wait for the last installation of the Twilight saga. Suspense is killing me. I’m not really a Twilight fanatic but I’ve come to watch every single episode of it and I’m looking forward to how it would end.

I love this–no frills, no glitz, just pure laid-back movie night! πŸ™‚

I called up SM City Marikina Cinema [+63(2)4771686] this morning and I inquired if they would be selling tickets for its premier. Lucky me because there were still some available tickets for sale at Php170 only! I decided to pause from a very busy week for me for some time of rejuvenation.

Armed with Gongcha’s Wintermelon Milk Tea, Popcorn and Hotdog Sandwich for dinner, I once again exercised my virtue of independence. :p SM City Marikina Cinema is a thumbs-up! Of course I got my favorite seat, middle part, eye-level! :p The sound and video quality are superb! I also noticed that there were a few and very much visible security personnel on all sides while we were watching. I think this is a measure against piracy, which is good.

There are 3 take-home realizations I went with:

  1. True love is eternal. I don’t think you would even need to be a vampire to show this. This is what Bella & Edward have proven to be true the entire series. I like the movie because it also shows how great the love of a family is.
  2. In Carlisle’s words: “Everyone has something to fight for.” Need I say more? πŸ™‚
  3. A true friend lays down his own life for the other. It is really very important to surround yourself with friends who would really become a strong support system. How sweet would it be to fight and win any battle alongside with family and friends?

I’m a bit sad though because the saga has finally come to an end. In fact, when the movie has reached its unexpected twist, everyone at the cinema evidently reacted! I was already at my lowest point and I suddenly realized that the director “got me.” You should really see this for yourself!

Breaking Dawn Part 2 officially opens today, November 15th. This is the epic finale that will definitely live forever! πŸ™‚

I’ll leave you with the song, “A Thousand Years” by Christina Perri. This has been in my MP3 Player for quite sometime now. This song is really perfect for the movie! I’ll lull myself to this tonight. πŸ™‚ This made me miss my fellow movie buff, my husband. Iinggitin ko siya bukas!

“I have died everyday waiting for you. Darling, don’t be afraid, I have loved you for a thousand years, and a thousand more.”

we missed you. but i must say P170 is really a good deal especially for an advance screening.

Sayang nga ‘di ako nakajoin. Iniisip ko din kasi si Noa at least isang tumbling lang ako sa bahay in case. I’m itching to death to watch it, galing galing! No regrets at sulit ang bayad ko! I hope you also had a great time! See you on Sunday! πŸ™‚
