Fashion & Beauty,

Giordano Monster’s University Fair

Giordano Philippines hosted a Monsters University (MU) Fair over the weekend, June 29-30, 2013, at the Activity Center of Trinoma Mall in Quezon City — and Moomy Musings was there!

A couple of hours before formally opening the MUF to the public, Media & Bloggers were invited to get the first dibs of what fun activities it has to offer. I was very excited to attend the MUF because we’ve just finished watching Monsters University last Friday. I still have the Mike & Sulley fever in me!

If you’ve already seen the movie, you’d know that this MU Fair entrance gate looks exactly the same with the movie. Two thumbs up for event design! 🙂

This gate gave me the giddy feel that I was about to enter the real MU.

Before you’d be able to explore the MU Fair, you need to see the MU “Registrar’s Office.” Don’t worry because registering here won’t take very long. You just need to sign-in your name and a few contact details. In return, the registrar will give you an MU Flag and your “Report Card.”

“Congratulations! You’re now an official student of Monsters University! Here’s your MU Report Card.”

In order to get your grades, you need to attend 4 gaming classes at MU: Monsters 101, Screamology, Field of Screams, and School of Rawr.

In Screamology, we can test our mental speed with a playtime of 2Fuse. All we need to do is to combine numbers with similar colored cubes in 60 seconds.

The Field of Screams is the second gaming station which allows sports buffs to size up their fitness and agility with XBOX Kinect Sports. If you don’t like to play sports, you have to option to dance your way to getting an “A.”

If you ace your music classes in High School, then in MU, there’s a School of Rawr for you. Turn up the volume and explore your musical prowess by playing the Guitar Hero.

Train your brain with Twinoo at Monster 101, the fair’s fourth gaming booth. Sit back, and let logic and art come together in this classroom-type station. Put those thinking caps on and show everybody why it’s cool to be a nerd.

Aside from playing some fun digital games, there’s also the “Monsters Ink” class for all ages.

Take your MU loyalty to the highest level by visiting the school’s clothing shop. This is where you can get your MU apparels such as printed tees, hoodies and polo shirts!

Of course, I did not leave MU without writing something down on the Freedom Wall. 🙂

‘Twas a monsterrific event for me to attend the Monsters University Fair! Thank you so much to Giordano Philippines for sending me to MU! I’m now an official student.

If you didn’t catch the Monsters University Fair, don’t be sad because it’s happening again this weekend! Armed with your loudest, “Rawr,” visit SM Megamall this on July 6 & 7, 2013 to experience attending MU for yourself.
