Happy Bumps Day at the Belly Blessed Fest 2013

On July 12-14, Mommy Mundo organized another successful event called Belly Blessed Fest 2013. It is dedicated to infanticipating women held at The Podium Mall, Ortigas Center, Pasig City.

I consider it as a very beautiful day because baby bumps were everywhere! It was a pleasant sight to see that pregnancy glow emanating from the face of all the participants. My heart was also touched to pass by these pregnant women who have their husbands / partners to support them in attending the event.

I arrived early in the morning to check out the sessions and programs prepared by the organizers. The first session for that day was sponsored by Cordlife Philippines and it was about the importance of Cord Blood Banking.

Even though I’m not yet expecting Baby #2 anytime soon, I won’t regret experiencing the event for myself. I discovered a few great finds for moms with babies or toddlers by visiting the concessionairesโ€™ booth. I also took this time to meet my other mommy friends and bloggers.

The Belly Blessed Fest 2013 concessionaires exhibited their best, most functional, and cutest products when I attended on the 2nd day of the event. These are the ones who stood out, and captured my attention:

TEETHING BEADS by Mommy Margie Revilla-Lirazan

According to Mommy Margie, these fabulous teething beads are made of 100% silicon! Silicon is the same material that composes our children’s feeding bottle nipples or teats. I was able to touch both the teething necklace and bracelets and they’re really soft! You can clean this by using your child’s regular bottle or utensil wash, then rinse thoroughly with running tap water. Since these blings are made of silicon, they are sterilizer-safe!

The Teething Beads necklace is sold for Php350.00, while the bracelet costs Php150.00. I find it reasonably-priced vs. the teething blings that I know of that is produced in China.

T-RRIFIC BY INKED Kids Shirt

My whole family is a certified Despicable Me fan. A few days before my husband left for work, we watched it with N. Our daughter can even sing the song, “Baba-ba-Baba-Banana,” and she knows the Minions like the back of her hand.

N was able to wear the shirt during her little friend’s 2nd birthday party at Gymboree – Serendra yesterday.

Let me also share with you some of my favorite booths at the Belly Blessed 2013:

Having said of Despicable Me, check out this little minion over here with interchangeable eyes, sold only at The Ant’s Pocket by Mommy Anne Mateo. She also has this modern-day paperdolls, Lalaloopsy. ๐Ÿ™‚ They’re really cute in person.

Adorable baby apparels and accessories by Luvable Friends / Babyzone. They sell very cute rompers, onesies, bibs, booties, hooded towels, and a whole lot more!

A fellow mommy blogger friend’s budding business, Jeanne Marfal of Happy Mommy Adventures for Crumbs and Grubs. You should try these lactation treats to help you increase your breastmilk supply.

Need I say more? One of my favorite brands, Philips Avent. They were on 20% off that day!

Numa Baby was also at the Belly Blessed Fest 2013. Check out this Tummy Tub, not your baby’s ordinary bath tub.

St. Patrick Baby offers quality “white” clothing and more for your soon-to-be-born little one.

Freebies were also given on that bumpy day! In 5 minutes or less, you can get a free Physiogel Intensive Cream for free by just answering their Baby Wellness Survey! ๐Ÿ™‚

And of course, there were also on-the-spot raffle prizes and games. I even won a Halo Sleepsack by when I joined in their “Bring Me” contest. Nobody was bringing out a Mommy Mundo Privilege Passport so ended up getting the prize. The sleepsack’s size is too small for N though, so I just gave it away to a mommy friend who could be able to put it in good use. ๐Ÿ™‚

Mommy Mundo also ran an Instagram / Twitter contest for its followers. The grand prize is the most coveted Aprica Stroller worth a whopping Php22K if I’m not mistaken. I wonder who the lucky mom will be once they announce the winner.

The Mommy Mundo Belly Blessed 2013 was an event worth going to, not just for preggy mamas, but for all families! If you’ve missed this year’s event, don’t you worry because Mommy Mundo is cooking up more of activities before this year ends.

Congratulations again to Mommy Janice Villanueva of Mommy Mundo and your whole team for a very fun, informative and successful Belly Blessed Fest 2013. You’re indeed a very blessed mom with Mommy Mundo!

One quick announcement! Before you go, please check back Moomy Musings on Monday because I will be posting the mechanics to my Teething Beads / T-rrific by Inked Giveaway!

Have a happy weekend, everyone! ๐Ÿ™‚
