My Cirque Du Bebe Experience and Shopping Finds

Cirque Du Bebe is the newest addition to the list of Manila’s bargain shopping destinations among moms with little children.

Since I was already within the Bonifacio Global City (BGC) area this afternoon to attend the launch of San Miguel PurefoodsMy Great Food app, I have no excuse not to drop by and see what’s going on at the Cirque Du Bebe Baby and Kids Fair.

Cirque Du Bebe is happening at the Bench Tower, very close to Burgos Circle in BGC. You can search for it in your Google Maps if you’re using your car, or if going there by cab, tell the driver to take you to Burgos Circle. You won’t get lost if you follow the map because you’d see this big signage placed just outside the building. And by the way, looking for a nearby parking space to the venue is a little hassle.

When you reach the lobby of Bench Tower, you will see another signage but you can go straight to the basement by taking the elevator. There is a guard-on-duty who will give you a flyer as you enter the building. Please keep this flyer because it will serve as your entrance pass to the fair.

You will see this signage as soon as you enter the Bench Tower.

Cirque Du Bebe Entrance Pass: It is already good for 5 people.

When you reach the basement, you will have to register first here. If the line is not long, you’re okay to go in within 30 seconds.

I think the organizers have executed well the circus theme and vibe. It was nicely decorated, well-ventilated and cool.

However, I just find the aisles a little too small in some areas, which might be a source of inconvenience if you’d be bringing in your baby in a stroller.

Now let’s go to the fun part: SHOPPING!! Aside from the other brands and usual products that I’ve featured here, just to let you know, ย I always feature NEW things that I come across with whenever I attend baby fairs or bazaars, or note-worthy booths that offer great deals.

Cotton On Kids is on sale, especially their shorts and t-shirts for girls and boys ages 0-6 years old.

Kiele’s Anti-Mosquito Baby Cologne. Also available in Mothercare. It contains Citronella extract (a natural insect repelling plant), but it smells good. ๐Ÿ™‚

Wild Pack Bags

So cute children’s bag / luggage / trolleys from Wild Pack. You can also find them in Rustan’s. The small luggage could fit stuff up to 5 kilos. I actually tried carrying it, and it is really light!

Yoomi Philippines is an innovative feeding technology that allows you to warm your child’s milk in just one button click, whether breastmilk or canned, even drinking water. You can check Yoomi Philippines on Facebook for more info.

Since it’s now summer, Charlie Banana is one brand that I trust when it comes to buying your baby’s swim diaper! When not in use as a swim diaper, you can actually use it as a potty training pants for your child. We still have Charlie Banana’s Swim Diaper until now and it is still in good wearable condition. I bought it when Noa was about a year old.

I’ve heard from my exclusively cloth nappying friends that Charlie’s Soap is so good for their cloth diapers, and even baby clothes.

VMV Hypoallergenics‘ Mom & Baby Line also caught my attention, especially Grandma Minnie’s The Big, Brave Boo Boo Balm.

Breastfeeding Station: Uhm. I think they can improve this by making the chairs more comfy and placing a breastfeeding pillow.

Now, let’s go to my shopping finds, a.k.a. Mommy’s Haul. ๐Ÿ™‚

cirque-du-bebe-haul

Mommy’s Shopping Haul at Cirque Du Bebe — all for Noa. ๐Ÿ™ Hehee!

Here is a quick rundown of the items I shopped:

  1. 2 Cotton On Kids shorts retails at P200/each
  2. 1 F&X Kids Summer Dress at P400
  3. 2 Kodomo Kid’s Toothpaste at P25/each
  4. 2 Cotton On Kids Disneyยฎ Licensed Shirts at P400/each
  5. 1 Kiele Anti-Mosquito Cologne at P199
  6. Melissa & Doug Water Wow Practice Board at P400
  7. Messy Bessy Fabric Freshner for P109

cirque-du-bebe-melissa-and-doug-water-wow

Noa’s favorite now: Melissa & Doug’s Water Wow — a messy-free practice counting and writing book that uses water as “ink.” Color magically appears when you color the board using the special pen. Bought this from Ogalala World booth.

I only shelled out a few bucks today. Luckily, one of Noa’s godmothers gave her some Bench GCs a few weeks ago, and I am so happy that I have spent it well today.

If you are able to shop a total of P3,000 (you can combine all your receipts from all the stores you’ve bought from), you will get a goodie bag from Bench and Cirque Du Bebe.

cirque-du-bebe-goodie-bag

Cirque Du Bebe Goodie Bag for P3,000 worth of accumulated purchase from all the participating brands.

My estimated worth of this goodie bag is roughly around P300.

So there you are, I hope you find this post helpful as you take a trip to Cirque Du Bebe this weekend. Shop wisely and bring your shopping bag! Enjoy the rest of the weekend!

So what do you think of Cirque Du Bebe? Is it worth the trip? โ™ฅ

Hi Glaiza! As usual, I admire how you are able to come up with a post-event review that is so inviting. I particularly love to see your good finds!

Anyway, is the entrance fee free? After reading your post, bigla kong na compare siya sa Grand Baby Fair, parang ganun rin na may loot bag, hehe. But I don’t think I’ll be able to visit this since malayo sakin and para iwas na rin sa gastos. Although hindi ko pa napuntahan yang Bench Tower. Hopefully next time. hehe ๐Ÿ™‚

Hi Sally! Gee, thanks, bigla naman akong nahiya, ๐Ÿ™‚ Cirque Du Bebe is for free so we can bring everyone in the family.

That is so true. I am all for shopping practical stuff, nagkataon lang that I still have unused GCs here. I was really planning to visit a Cotton On Kids store to spend them, luckily, I learned about this bazaar. It was a good time to use them. ๐Ÿ™‚

    • Glaiza | Moomy Musings says:

Hello Laarni! Yes kids are very much welcome to come since it has play facilities from Gymboree and you can do art / coloring time managed by the Stabilo booth. I just don’t know what situation would be like in terms of the volume of people this coming 2 days. I really hope you have an amazing family time.

  4. Ryche says:

Hi Mommy Glaiza! Wow. Your post made me go wow talaga. Amazing how you can juggle all your daily activities and still come up with great posts. I’m a new blogger, and I don’t know how to get followers. I’m, sort of feeling like, eh ano naman sa kanila kung ganito yung sinulat ko, and I run out of ideas. :/ Can you give me a piece of advice? Haha Mentor lang ang peg. Thank you Mommy Glaiza! More power to you and your family! ๐Ÿ™‚

    • Glaiza | Moomy Musings says:

Hi Ryche, thank you for visiting my blog! ๐Ÿ™‚ Hahaha Naku I was already feeling very sleepy last night doing this because I had a long day. I even forgot to include a very important photo about the cirque Du Bebe program for 2 days. It can now be found on my Facebook fan page.:)

As for your question how to gain followership, be very sensitive about the “trends” in the Philipine parenting community. For example now, since it’s summertime, you might want to do a post on summer activities or classes for kids. Position yourself in such a way that when you visit a site, when you click that “x” (close) button, ask yourself: what new things did I learn from visiting this blog? As long as you write from your heart and in line with your blogging purpose, readers are smart, it will eventually show. ๐Ÿ™‚
