Last Friday, Noa and I went to the SM Mall of Asia to meet Disney’s newest girl in crow, Sofia the First.
It was a well-anticipated day for all the young Filipino girls who have fallen in love with her and her many different adventures from Enchancia. We’ve seen Sofia the First since it aired its 60-minute pilot episode called, “Once Upon A Princess” back in 2012.
We feel really honored to have invited by Toy Kingdom to join the Sofia the First Meet & Greet Special Preview together with their friends and some other members of the media. I also bump into some of the amazing mommies from my Mommy Bloggers Philippines (MBP) community.
Royal Desserts and Sweet Pastries for Sofia the First’s Honorable Guests
Before the actual Royal Meet & Greet with Sofia the First started, there were some activities prepared for the little princesses by the Royal Prep School.
These royal activities planned for the pretty princesses include a salon time at the Princess Pamper Parlour, The Etiquette Test, Create Your Own Amulet / Bling, Art Time and a Royal Photo Session.
Before meeting up with Sofia, the princes and princesses were taught how to do Sofia’s signature courtsy.
Courtsy is Sofia’s signature bow as a sign of royal courtesy and respect to everyone she meets.
Teach me how to “COURTSY” ala Sofia
Sofia the First’s Royal Guests are so game to learn the Courtsy.
Shortly after the courtsy session and playing some dance and trivia games, Sofia finally makes a grand entrance! You can literally hear the children scream, “Wow!”
Welcome to Manila, Sofia the First!
We were all given an opportunity to meet Sofia up close and have a photo taken.
It was one fun day for my daughter and I’m sure that she was so happy to have met Sofia the First. Sofia also gave us some royal presents for attending her Meet & Greet. 🙂
And also before I forget, Sofia the First came to the Philippines because of Toy Kingdom — The Amazing Toy Store and Disney.
If your child is an avid Sofia the First merchandise fan and collector, you need not go far or order abroad. Just visit your favorite Toy Kingdom branch to score them.
Here are some of the Sofia stuff that I came across with:
There are also pillows, Ottomans, bags, shirts, crowns, and other Sofia the First toys available. I’m sure Toy Kingdom would be adding up a few more items in the coming days.
Thank you Sofia the First for visiting Manila! I hope you come back again and visit us! 🙂 Thanks Toy Kingdom and Disney for bringing Sofia one royal step closer to our princesses’ hearts.
