Introducing: Yakult Light

Last weekend, Noa and I were very glad to join the Yakult Philippines Plant Visit in Laguna together with some bloggers. I rarely say yes to out-of-town blogging events, but since Yakult is a household favorite, I couldn’t let the chance slip.

My daughter is a Yakult monster — she can finish 5 bottles in one sitting if you don’t keep it out of her sight. When I told her the night before our scheduled visit, she was very excited to come with me since I told her that we would be visiting the Yakult factory.

The Yakult Plant and Main Office is located atΒ Maharlika Highway, Bo. Makiling Calamba City, Laguna

The Yakult Plant is very clean and organized. We were able to take a glimpse of the different manufacturing sections of Yakult. Everything we see on each bottles of Yakult is manufactured at their plant in Laguna.

This is the section wherein they gather and print on the Yakult bottles

This is where they carefully check the proper foil capping of each Yakult bottles. Yakult Philippines produces 2.4 million bottles of Yakult everyday.

Did you know that you can visit the Yakult Plant for FREE? As long as the plant is available, you can schedule a site visit with them.

  5. Marinela Diaz says:

Wow, this is a very good news! Sana meron na agad nyan sa SM Sta. Rosa or Calamba, since nasa Laguna naman ang plant nila. πŸ™‚ Will look for this on our next grocery trip.

    • GGT | says:

Hi Marinela, if you’re close to their factory, you can buy it from there I guess. NCR will be the first one to try this, perhaps nearby provinces too. This is our new favorite because it has less sugar. But for kids, I’d still opt for the original variant.
