Physiogel Philippines Launches Free In My Skin Movement

What holds you back as a woman to be what you want to be?

As women, one of the things that we truly value and invest on is having great and healthy skin. For this reason, we don’t mind purchasing skincare products or avail of beauty services that promises to give us the best skin that we are aiming for. When there is nothing wrong about taking care of ourselves (especially if we can afford it), we might as well think about why does our skin look the way it is in the first place.

As modern women, we are faced with a lot of reasons why we look haggard or stressed out and it shows in our skin. Our skin’s overall appearance is a direct reflection of our very own lifestyle. Do we sleep on time? Do we eat healthy food? Do we keep ourselves hydrated? These questions are just basic. We must not forget that sometimes, we have personal/emotional baggage that take its toll on us.

For this reason, I am very glad to have listened to an inspiring night of talk as Physiogel Philippines unveils its Free In My Skin Movement.

Empowering Women

Physiogel Philippines launched the Free In My Skin movement  last September 9, 2014 at the Makati Shangri-la Hotel.

Physiogel’s Free In My Skin event launch was hosted by model and blogger Patty Laurel-Filart.

At the forerun of this campaign is model, TV host and entrepreneur Patti Grandidge. The Free In My Skin movement seeks to bring together and honor women who overcame their insecurities and became the best version of themselves.

Patti is just one great example of one of every two Filipinas who suffered from dry and sensitive skin.

Patti Grandidge: “With Physiogel, I became free from dry and sensitive skin – to get going, to get out there and just be who I really am. So, now I truly believe in the power of having good skin. It gave me the power to feel empowered, to feel free. I became free in my skin. And this is why I have been rallying for this movement to reach out to so many women out there.”

Patti knew that if she wanted to be in control of her life and achieve her goals, she had to overcome her insecurities, starting with her skin.  She also said she understands how insecurities can be restraining and wants every Filipina to be free from dry, sensitive skin and to confidently reveal their true selves.

Joining Patti in the #FreeInMySkin Movement are Karima Castro — a dentist and a Physiogel user, and Mica Tuano — a make-up artist who used to be a copywriter who chose to follow her passion.

Free in My Skin Movement

The Free in My Skin Movement aims to empower women to fully embrace and participate in life by freeing them from dry and sensitive skin, because having dry and sensitive skin can serve as a hindrance for women to fully function to their best abilities. This movement also aims to honor smart, strong, sensitive women who have faced their insecurities (physically and emotionally) and are now embracing and living life to the fullest.

GSK General Manager Consumer Healthcare Jeoffrey Yulo

“The Free in My Skin movement is not just about creating a nurturing community of  smart, strong and sensitive women, but is also as a way of honoring these women who didn’t let their dry-skin insecurities prevent them from being the best versions of themselves,” says General Manager of GSK Consumer Healthcare, Mr. Jeoffrey Yulo.

Locking Moisture In

Physiogel® is the only skincare product that has the patented advanced Physiogel BioMimic Technology® that works naturally with your skin to make it less sensitive and dry. Like a jigsaw puzzle, your skin’s natural lipid layers form a matrix, helping to lock the moisture within. This allows Physiogel® to repair dehydrated skin, rehydrate the essential barriers and also revitalize the skin―keeping it healthy from within. Physiogel® is free from perfumes, preservatives or colorants.

For skin that is less sensitive and dry, experience the difference with Physiogel®, the most recommended moisturizer brand by dermatologists in the Philippines.

So are you now free from that thing that holds you back? I sincerely hope that this post brought you inspiration for to be truly free and to take care of your skin the most healthy and expert-approved way.

It’s so nice to be #FreeInMySkin with Earth, Pehpot, Jen & Louise
