Your Mini-Me’s Whimsical Foot Forward with Mini Melissa

Participating in Melissa Philippines’ My Mini Melissa event last week proved to be one of the reasons why it’s fun mothering a girl. I don’t know if I’ve already told you this but I am really enjoying having a daughter as a firstborn. Why? Because I feel like I have my own Baby Alive since I can get to dress her up with a lot of pretty little pieces from dresses, headbands, bags, accessories, and shoes. I think the fashion world is friendlier with women and girls in terms of choices.

Mini Melissa is a whimsical line of comfortable yet stylish footwear for girls ages 1-5 years old. It has also become a favorite choice among the fashionable and A-Lister parents of Hollywood like Victoria Beckham, Beyonce, Jessica Alba, Amy Adams and Heidi Klum.

Mini Melissa came out in 2010 and it shares the same design philosophy as its mommy brand, Melissa. Mini Melissa was born from the brand Melissa’s desire to give the same kind of fashion, style, and comfort to little girls as their moms enjoy.

Mini Melissa My Mini Me Event Launch

Mini Melissa invited me and my little Muser to an afternoon filled with laughter, candies and shoes last October 23 at the new wing of Shangri-la Plaza Mall. We were treated to an instant Melissa shoe shopping spree at Geleia! 🙂

Mommy & Mini Melissa Picks

If you are wondering what we ended up picking during the Melissa shopping spree at Geleia, here’s what we went home wearing. They are sooo comfy and light, as if you are wearing nothing! I can definitely stroll all day and chase after my active little girl wearing these flats.

Noa chose the bear design because she said, “Mommy, we’re going on a bear hunt.” As inspired by one of her favorite books, “We’re Going on a Bear Hunt” by Michael Rosen.

I picked Melissa’s Ballerina in Beige and Noa picked from Mini Melissa’s Animal Lover Collection in Bear! ♥

If you are looking for some really charming and whimsical pair of shoes for your little girls especially this Holiday, you can find Melissa and Mini Melissa at the following Geleia stores, and also as recently announced in Mothercare.

What’s the price range for Mini Melissa in Geleia? I’ve been looking for MM here in the Philippines but just found this post. We had our first MM clear cats shoes last year and my daughter loves it. We’d love to have more but buying overseas seem to be costly.

    Thanks for this wonderful blog/info!
