Attending this year’s Alaska Merry Cremas Festival has been my second. Thanks to Asian Food Channel and my favorite, Food Network Asia for asking me to be a part of it. Since I was able to enjoy last year’s sweet festivity too, I somehow had an idea on what to expect. If you want to read on what happened during the Alaska Merry Cremas 2013 Festival, feel free to check it out.
Eastwood City Open Park was still the venue for this year’s Alaska Merry Cremas 2014. People are coming in non-stop since the event welcomes everyone to join. All they needed to do is to register and get their passport cards. In turn, these passport cards are needed to avail of free samples from the participating booths.
Here are some of the interesting things I noticed last Sunday:
Strawberry Panna Cotta with White Choco Mousse by Blue Toque
“The Groot Cake. “Also found at the Blue Toque booth.
Matty’s Mango Cake by Cuppycakes by Carmen
Side story on Matty’s Mango Cake: I first tasted it and shared the story to my mom. So she visited the booth and loved it too! This is really yummy! My mom and I even bought from them. In case you come across Matty’s Mango Cake, you should try some.
Chocolate Chip Oatmeal Pistachio Cookies at Sweet Fevrier
Health conscious? Why don’t you try this Malunggay-Carrot Cake?
If I were to give an award to the most generous booth in terms of serving samples to the guests, it would have to go to Cupcake Mistress. See that mini-cupcake samples on the rightmost side? That’s what you can try when you visit their station.
And for that Cupcake Mistress, they became a hit to the kids.
Other sweet things from Batter Up and their moist chocolate brownies and adorably designed Christmas polvoron from Double Delights. I’ve been a fan of their polvoron with rice crispies for a long time now.
Aside from food samples, Alaska Crema also prepared different activities for the whole family to enjoy. There was a photo, game and an art booth for the children.
Noa joins the Make-You-Own-Christmas Card
To complete the sweet Holiday celebration, the Hail Mary the Queen Children’s Choir was invited to sing a few Christmas tunes. Oh boy, these kids really sing like angels. I heard from the intro the they’ve already been invited to sing in Disneyland in Anaheim, California in the past.

If there’s one reason that I keep visiting the Alaska Crema Festival, it’s because I’ve always loved Chico & Delamar’s hosting the event. It was so fun watching and listening to them. I just couldn’t stop laughing at them last Sunday. Super fun hosts!! 🙂
My favorite radio jocks Chico & Delamar!
And one of the highlights of the event, a showstopper KZ Tandingan who did an Eraserheads/Rivermaya medley, and a breathtaking rendition of “Rolling in the Deep” by Adele. You can watch KZ perform the song on the Moomy Musings YouTube channel. 🙂
KZ Tandingan, winner of X-Factor Philippines is also an Alaska Crema brand ambassador.
KZ is interviewed by Chico & Delamar after her performance
I’ve tasted and experienced so many sweet things at the Alaska Merry Cremas 2014 Festival, but the Christmas card made by my 3-year-old is the sweetest of all!
The night ended with a beautiful fireworks display at exactly 8PM. I wasn’t able to capture it on video because I just wanted to enjoy my time watching it. All the attendees who visited the Alaska Merry Cremas Festival also went home with some free products from Alaska. Everybody happy!!! 🙂
Merry Cremas everyone! Congratulations to Alaska Crema All-Purpose Cream for a very successful event. Thanks again also to Asian Food Channel (AFC) and Food Network Asia for inviting me. ‘Til next year again! ♥
