Hello, December! A No Commercial Post

It’s been a while since I posted a personal entry. I always have to remind myself to strike a balance in my posts. There are days that my conscience bothers me since most of the things I post are either to feature a product or share about an event. Please let me do this more in 2015.

I’ve been so busy fulfilling the various blog commitments that I’ve said yes to. It’s been going on like this for about 3 straight weeks now. Today, I’ve finally found time to sit down and remove the cobwebs on this cyber home. I also figure out that I don’t want to do this comeback with another commercial post; instead, I will share with you something Christmas-y to formally welcome one of the favorite months of the year, December.

This December, I’ve also decided to sport a new haircut.

Let me start by updating you about the happenings in my family. The main reason why I am now swimming in a pool of pending blog articles is my husband’s homecoming. (So to my blog partners, please bear with me but I will surely work on our projects as fast as I can.) He’s been here since July, and if you remember, we flew to Hong Kong for Noa’s 3rd Birthday. (This Hong Kong series, I haven’t even finished yet.) Shortly after coming back from HK, he needed to attend his schooling duty somewhere in the north for about 4 months. Just so you know, in the military, part of their training as soldiers is to sit down in a classroom and learn more about becoming effective in their service.

Thank the Lord that my husband finally graduated last month. Since his graduation, I am out almost every day if not attending my blog-related events, but to do our family errands to take advantage of my husband being in town. We’ve spent some movie date nights to catch up and nurture our marriage. We need this to prepare ourselves for another physical separation due to deployment.

As for Noa, she’s almost 3 1/2 years old, and starting to get soooooo kulit and all. She’s now starting to hide my make-up (experts call this stage as Hoarding  or the “It’s Mine!”  Stage) for children. One example is what I’ve shared yesterday on my social media accounts:

I was preparing myself for church and needed my make-up. I couldn’t find them anywhere since they were all taken out of my make-up kit. After wasting so much time looking for them in every corner of our home, this is where I finally found them — resting in Noa’s yellow toy wagon.

Now that I’ve set things straight, prepare for a lot of new stories of the events I’ve been to and products that I’ve tried in the coming days. It’s gonna be a busy December! Still, it still holds the most beautiful time of the year for me, and prayerfully yours too!

On my next post, forgive me as I get back to business. I will be sharing later about one of the comfiest pair of shoes that I’ve worn from Skechers. Stay tuned! 🙂

A blessed Christmas to you all, my dear Musers! ♥
