Must-Try Sweet Spot: Milk Cow Philippines

Before Christmas last year, we were invited to the grand opening of Milk Cow Philippines at Eastwood City. Milk Cow is Korea’s top dessert spot, which is popularly known for its signature soft-served organic ice cream. Being a fan of Korean ice cream, I just couldn’t miss the opening of its first ever branch in Manila.

Leading the momentous ribbon cutting ceremony was Mr. Seann Tan, the president of Milk Cow Philippines

“We loved the taste of the ice cream when we first had it while on vacation in Korea. We know Filipinos love their sweets, but the awesome thing about this is that it isn’t so sweet that you would get tired of it even after a whole cup,” shared Seann Tan, President of Milk Cow Philippines.

As a treat for its grand opening that day, Milk Cow offered one free ice cream for the first 200 customers who lined up starting at 2PM.

While waiting for the official opening of Milk Cow to the public, I got the first dibs of what this newest ice cream hub has to offer.

Milk Cow also offers delicious homemade macarons with interesting flavors like tequila and Baileys.

And of course, when you are visiting Milk Cow, you should first and foremost try their really delicious and creamy soft-served ice cream! For a start, I’d recommend trying the Milk Cow Milky Cube Ice Cream!

Milk Cow Milky Cube Ice Cream

Milk Cow offers dessert the healthy way since their ice cream is made from organic milk, the Milky Honey, which comes with 100% natural honey from honey farms in Tasmania and Sydney, or the Milky Cube, which comes with natural honeycomb. You can nibble this honeycomb away and savor its healthy sweetness!

What separates Milk Cow from the rest is that the ice cream is so tasty/flavorful. If you taste some melted part of the ice cream, it remains thick (not runny) and stays true to the creamy flavor and texture of milk.

Since I was with Noa, I let her try their Milk Cow Oreo Crumble while I got the Milky Cube.

We also tried the other ice cream flavors for an adventure like the Macao Dream and Snow Drop.

Milky Cow Snow Drop has a fluffy cotton candy on top with sea salt and jellybeans; while Macao Dream has sweet macaron and almond crumble

Milk Cow also offers savory treats and I recommend the Parmesan Basil Chicken to go well with your ice cream.

Obviously, as the title of this post goes, we love Milk Cow! It’s a sweet spot that you should go to when visiting Eastwood City. My little kiddo-approves! It’s a must-try because you can get your dose of sweetness, the healthy way with your family.
