Celebrate Mom’s Journey of #FirstsWithPampers

I am grateful for becoming a mom in this digital age because capturing my daughter’s many firsts has become easier. If you happen to raid a mom’s phone gallery, don’t be surprised to see 90% of the stored photos in it are about her children. Once you turn into a mom, each moment spent with your child is always memorable. You’ll find yourself constantly looking for ways to document as much memories because as they say, they only become children once.

One afternoon I received an email from Pampers Philippines for an event that they are having. I was also requested to submit a photo of Noa and consider the theme “Firsts” in choosing. Oh wow! In my head, it should be an easy peasy task since I have taken hundreds of photos of her for the last three years. Well, almost four. Only to find myself staring at that one snapshot of her back at the hospital. It was so special because it was the day that finally made me believe in love at first sight.

Pampers Philippines relived and celebrated that very special moment with me. Last March 18th, they held the #FirstsWithPampers Baby Shower Event at the Active Fun, Bonifacio Global City. The venue was beautifully styled working around Pampers’ signature colors of blue and a touch of yellow.

The dessert buffet was definitely the guests’ favorite in my observation. It was the conversation piece of the day. Now I regret coming a bit late so I wasn’t able to take better photos of it. I had to enroll Noa for her Summer Class this April.

I know this looked gorgeous and full if only I came in earlier. Good thing I was able to take some photos of the Red Velvet cupcakes with its adorably-designed topper, sugar cookies and the lolly cakes.

Too cute to be eaten. I closed my eyes when I munched one of these.

Pampers Philippines Welcomes Newest Mombassador Andi Manzano-Reyes

Joining the Pampers family is the very blooming first-time mom / radio jock Andi Manzano-Reyes and her very soon-to-be-born little princess named Pilar Olivia.

Update: On her Instagram account, Andi posted a photo with Olivia on her arms on Friday, March 20, 2015.

Andi reveals, “I’m gonna miss being pregnant.”

Aside from Andi, Pampers also invited Dr. Concepcion C. Alfonso, a pediatrician from St. Lukes Medical Center. The child-health expert stressed the great importance of having complete and uninterrupted sleep in a young child’s life.

I know by experience that one factor that disrupts a baby’s good night’s sleep is diaper wetness. As moms, one of the very few things that we decide early on is what kind of diaper should we let our babies wear.

Meet the new Pampers Dry-Baby

Let me say this straight: the performance and stretchability of the new Pampers Baby-Dry to me was impressive.

Pampers conducted a live Diaper Test with us to showcase the features and benefits of the Pampers Baby-Dry.

The Pampers Baby-Dry Test Kit

Here comes the blue-colored water to represent a baby’s pee. We poured equal amount of water to each tube.

Actual results don’t lie. I was the one who wiped these two diapers with tissues.

To see it to believe, really. When I thought that the Diaper Test is done, we were asked to do one more task: “Ready, get set, PULL!!”

Diaper Brand X gave up easily with the stretch test. It ripped in just a quick pull of two moms. Look at the new Pampers Baby-Dry. It is even being pulled by two adults on both sides! Impressive, huh?!

The New Pampers® Baby Dry is yet the BEST and DRIEST, delivering up to 12 hours of skin dryness, for a night of complete sleep.

  • Soft Touch-Dry Layer quickly absorbs wetness to keep it away from baby’s skin
  • MAGIC GEL helps to absorb and lock in up to 7 wettings, from night until morning.
  • STRETCHY TAPES provide a superior fit and comfort, especially overnight.
  • All Around Breathability with micro holes that prevents stuffiness to increase comfort and avoid skin irritation
  • Soft Cottony Cover wraps your baby’s skin in comfort.
  • Fun Designs in vibrant, teal coloured packaging make changing time a lot more fun!

Pampers Book of Firsts

Remember what I told you at the beginning of this post about having tons of photos of our children? Pampers understands how important each captured moments of our children is for us parents. Through the Pampers BabyBook application, we can capture, celebrate and share our baby’s “firsts.” The new Pampers® FirstBook was launched to preserve wonderful moments in the best possible way.

Using the Pampers® FirstBook is very easy!

As simple as logging journal entries, uploading images and videos, Pampers® FirstBook goes on this journey of development with moms from baby’s first overnight sleep to his first few steps. Pampers® not only enables baby a good night’s sleep that leads to another day of firsts, but also helps moms remember, celebrate, and share  milestones with family and friends.

Baby’s first journey continues after Pampers® FirstBook, as moms have the ability to collect and document baby’s first 12 accomplishments through Pampers® FirstMovie.

To create Pampers® FirstBook and FirstMovie accounts, Filipino mommies can log on to and begin documenting and treasuring baby’s Firsts.

Thank you very much Pampers Philippines for inviting me to the #FirstsWithPampers Baby Shower event! I super love Noa’s framed photo as a souvenir present. Prayers of safe and healthy delivery also goes to Andi and Olivia. And as for you mom, the new Pampers Baby-Dry is surely worth giving a shot.

Remember: “Being a mother is learning about strengths you didn’t know you had and dealing with fears you never knew existed.”

Let’s celebrate the many firsts and joys of motherhood today and every day.
