Giveaway & Contests,

{Giveaway Alert} MoomyMusingsxTangled

I’m a self-confessed Disney mom. A Tangled one at that.

Tangled is one of my favorite animated movies of all time. I love everything in it: characters, storyline, and most of all the soundtrack. In fact, Mandy Moore and Zachary Levi’s  “I See The Light” is also on my Spotify playlist. I think that song captures the animated movie perfectly.

I adore the movie so much that I’ve been waiting for Disney to release a sequel, may it be in the another animation or live-action.

For this reason, it still came to us as good news when we heard of Tangled: The Animated Series being aired over at Disney channel.

Tangled: The Animated Series

Tangled the Animated Series airs new episode every Sunday at 11:30AM (Mal/Phil) at Disney Channel. The series is set between the stories told in Walt Disney Animation Studios’ acclaimed 2010 film “Tangled” and its short film “Tangled Ever After”. The series will see Mandy Moore and Zachary Levi reprising their roles as Rapunzel and Eugene respectively.

With a new visually vibrant animation style inspired by Rapunzel’s drawings in the original film, the show follows Rapunzel on her adventures as she acquaints herself with her parents, her kingdom, and the people of Corona. Along the way, her irrepressible spirit and natural curiosity about the world lead her to realize that there is so much more she needs to learn before she can accept her royal destiny as Princess of Corona.

At the heart of the series is Rapunzel’s relationship with her friends and family. Beloved characters from the feature film accompany Rapunzel on her journey, including love interest Eugene Fitzherbert (aka Flynn Rider); her loyal chameleon sidekick, Pascal; her no-nonsense, dutiful horse, Maximus; and the Snuggly Duckling Pub Thugs. The series will introduce Cassandra (voiced by Eden Espinosa), a tough-as-nails lady-in-waiting who becomes Rapunzel’s confidante; and builds on her relationship with her parents, King Frederic (Clancy Brown) and Queen Arianna (Julie Bowen).

Rapunzel’s relatable, heartfelt and comedic stories model the importance of building and nurturing relationships, and of exploration and self-discovery. With her strength, confidence, positive disposition and creativity, she is a role model for young viewers who are learning to take on new responsibilities just as she is.

The series features songs produced by Academy Award-winning Disney Legend Alan Menken, who also composed the songs from the feature film.

Tintin Khu

My favorite character in Tangled in Rapunzel. As a parent, I want my daughter to learn how to be strong and independent but at the same time learn to accept help when needed. In Rapunzel’s adventure to find more about herself, she learned how to stand up for herself and not let others run her life and at the same time she had her friends to help her in seeking out the mystery about her hair and exploring life outside the palace.

Rapunzel’s mom is my favorite character in the series because of her encouraging words before the coronation.

“Plus est en vous.”

There’s more in you. These are the same words I want to impart to my daughter. I want my little girl to explore and to become her own person by discovering her strengths. Most importantly, to not be limited or boxed by other’s perception of her.

Cheers to strong and compassionate young ladies!

My daughter love, love, loves Rapunzel! She grew her hair for so long because she idolizes her so much. And of course, we watch the Tangled series episodes over and over and over again (walang sawa!!). What we like about Rapunzel is that she sees the good in every person she meets. As adults we are always wary of “bad” people, but Rapunzel believes that there is always a positive intention behind a person’s action. I remind my daughter this every time she feels that someone has hurt her feelings or did something that she didn’t like – to talk to that person and not be quick to judge his/her actions (like how Rapunzel tried to win Uncle Monty’s favor even though he booed her). Rapunzel is also quick to forgive, never bows out of challenges (eventhough nadaya sya ni Cassandra sa Challenge of the Brave), and never gives up on her friends (like getting Cassandra and Eugene to like each other haha!). It is easy to relate these traits to my daughter because we both watch the episodes together and she listens because she really likes to be Rapunzel when she grows up! 🙂

I am a parent to a 2year old girl and we both like Rapunzel in Tangled. I always encourage my daughter to be like Rapunzel – tenacious, fearless, and kind in order to survive the big world. I also tell her that Rapunzel’s resiliency and creativeness are life’s assets and should be copied.

I love Rapunzel! ? Her kind and brave heart leaves inspirational lessons to every kid and to all the televiewers. Her story is one of a kind and exceptional. I love her innocense and curiosity to the outside world. Though he lived on his own for years, he managed to lived beautifully inside and out. And her curiousity and bravery leads her to a more beautiful and powerful future.
As a parent, I want my child to look after the kind and brave heart of Rapunzel. To make him realized that despite of being alone, down for sometimes, there is always a wonderful tommorow waiting for him. That the courage beyond innocence is powerful and the love for what you have and what you become is indeed an inspiration.

By the way, my kid is a boy(and I know, the giveaway is for girls) and I’m joining for my niece. She loves and adore Rapunzel a lot especially her long golden hair. I hope I can make her smile through this. ?

My favorite character is Rapunzel and she’s also the favorite of my daughter. ? As a parent, I want her to learn the importance of family while watching Tangled. The importance of listening and obeying to their parents. ?

Anna Cyrile Oliveros

My favoriye character in Tangled is Rapunzel itself because i love how she fights for her freedom just to see the floating lights that she sees yearly. And how brave she is to fight against the bad guys along the way to the floating lights. She is not just a pretty face but she’s also a brave girl with a pure good heart just like her parents. I want my kids to watch the show and learn that they should chase their dreams and make it come true no matter what obstacles they may face along their way.

Rapunzel is my favorite character in Tangled and definitely my favorite Disney princess. Particularly, I am attracted to her assertiveness. She always look on the brighter side of things, confident and able to say what she wants or believes. She may be living a comfortable life in her sheltered tower but her curiosity and sense of adventure makes her yearn to discover what life is like outside of the tower. She knows when she must listen to her heart and fight for her dreams. A valuable lesson I would like my daughter to learn from a truly admirable princess.
